Scarlett Spam (@scarlettsspam2) seemed to be your average TikTok influencer, but she recently became popular on the short-video site once her true age was disclosed. Most fans assumed the influencer was between the ages of 15 and 25, yet this idea proved to be incorrect. The creator’s age reveals surprised her fans, with some even claiming that Scarlett Spam is lying about her age.
Scarlett Spam’s true age
Scarlett Spam’s external physical look is highly deceiving, with many assuming she is in her late teens or early twenties. According to her TikTok profile, the TikTok influencer has just recently entered her adolescence and is only 13 years old. Despite the fact that this is Spam’s second account, it already has 1.4 million followers, after her former one was banned with 800,000 followers. She barely began posting stuff on her new account in January, yet she has already received 19.3 million likes.
Her selected content niche of lifestyle, lipsync, and POV films resonated with her audience, with most of her videos receiving 4 million views or more. Her two most popular videos had 15.2 million views and 1.7 million and 1.2 million likes, respectively. However, the latest discovery of Scarlett Spam’s age has only increased her popularity. Because of the TikToker’s rise to prominence as a result of this incident, several impersonators have claimed that he is older than 13 years old. The TikToker reacted to these charges in the comment section on March 29, calling them fake. She penned,
“If you ever [hear] “me” state anything about my age other than the fact that I am 13, it was not me.” It was [someone] impersonating me and distributing fake information.”
Scarlett Spam’s 13-year-old age elicited mixed responses among fans. When fans discovered that Spam was not a young adult as they had imagined but a seventh-grader, they were inundated with troll remarks. Among the harsh remarks, there were a few who praised the 13-year-old influencer.
According to one user,
“I’ve never seen a 13-year-old suffer this much abuse, so keep your head up.”
Another expressed surprise at her age, a feeling echoed by many, stating,
“There’s no way you’re 13.”
A fellow video producer criticized the commentators’ conflicting attitude toward Spam before and after learning her age, saying,
“They claim you’re “overrated,” but they were the ones who pumped you up in the first place, like what- you’re so lovely.”
Within three hours, the video was uploaded, and Spam’s TikTok addressing concerns about her age and alerting her other admirers about the dissemination of false information had 500,000 views.
