In what will go down as one of the most memorable WWE matches of 2020, Roman Reigns defeated Jey Uso in their "I Quit" match at Hell in a Cell to retain the Universal Championship.

The match had it all. Pace, drama, emotion and theater. But when all was said and done, Reigns managed to defeat his cousin again, one month after their showdown at Clash of Champions.

During the match, with Jey down and on the verge of losing, Jimmy Uso ran into the ring and begged Reigns to stop. The latter shed some tears and apologized before attacking Jimmy, which prompted Jey to "quit" the match.

After the win, Reigns was congratulated on the stage by Afa and Sika.

So, what's next for Reigns and The Usos following this emotional and unforgettable match, with Survivor Series right around the corner?

According to Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co, the plan is now for Reigns and The Usos to form a new faction. Davis stated "the idea is that Jey and Jimmy will fall in line and do what Reigns says because he is the head of the family."

Davis also noted that "this is meant to elevate Reigns," so that he can reach the same level as WWE legends like The Rock and John Cena.

Not only that, but Davis said this new stable is also meant "to help elevate" The Usos, as WWE is planning to give them a run with the SmackDown Tag Team Championships soon.

Davis reported earlier this month that there had been discussions regarding a stable involving Reigns and The Usos. We'll just have to see what happens on this week's episode of SmackDown Live.

Makes Sense To Start The Stable Now

WWE has good reason to start up the Reigns-Usos stable before Survivor Series. The feud with Reigns and his cousins won't last much longer, after all. The three of them have flourished in a program together, and SmackDown could use a new dominant stable to build around. So if WWE is planning to start a faction with these three, they should move towards it as soon as possible.
