MIKE Hagerty, who starred on Friends and HBO’s Somebody, Somewhere, has died at the age of 67.
His co-star Bridget Everett shared the heartbreaking news on social media on Friday with a touching tribute.
Mike’s cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Bridget wrote of her friend and co-worker’s passing: “With great sadness, the family of Michael G. Hagerty announced his death yesterday in Los Angeles.
“A beloved character actor, his love of his hometown of Chicago and his family were the cornerstones of his life.
“Mike, a devoted husband, is survived by his wife Mary Kathryn, his sister Mary Ann Hagerty [and] her wife Kathleen O’Rourke, and their daughter Meg."

“He will be sorely missed," she concluded.
The actress shared a second Instagram post, this one featuring a collection of sweet photos of the two of them together.
In the caption, Bridget shared: "I loved Mike the instant I met him.
"He was so special. Warm, funny, never met a stranger.

"We are devastated he has passed. Mike was adored by the entire cast and crew of Somebody Somewhere.
"Our thoughts are with his wife and family."
Prior to working with Bridget on Somebody, Somewhere, the late character actor starred on a string of sitcoms.
MIKE'S CAREER
Mike was best known for his recurring role as Mr. Treeger on Friends, alongside stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer.
He made his first appearance as the apartment building superintendent in the show's second season and his last in the eighth season.
Along with his recurring gig on the long-running sitcom, he also starred on Fox’s The George Carlin Show and HBO’s Lucky Louie.
He appeared on a slew of other shows, as well, including Ghost Whisperer, Glee, Boston Legal, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Grey’s Anatomy, Cheers, and Seinfeld.
Mike began his acting and comedy career as part of the improv program, The Second City.

“Oh terrible loss and [I] will miss him on your show.
